I mean, it's good I guess, but why would a man literally ask people to call him "Tyro1301". Are you some kinda maniac, is that it? I just have no idea why you'd choose such a perplexing name for yourself, man.

its just my username bra
This is, without exaggeration, the most joy I've gotten out of a Newgrounds cartoon in years.
this one did go out to a specific group of people after all....
Damn, I was expecting this to suck, but it actually wasn't half bad.
Animation is a little amateurish sure, but the comedy is pretty on point, and the audio quality was surprisingly good.
I can't wait to see what you do in the future!
Thanks. I do be trying to get better at animation 🗿
Several years too late.
never too late to be funny
As much as people love to hate Anonymous-Frog, this wasn't half bad.
Some strong backgrounds, funny action scenes and set-pieces, as well as fairly strong pacing make this a fun film.
As far as my criticisms are concerned: some of the film's editing leads to some confusion at times (the part where it jump cuts from the guy on the top of the elevator shaft to the guy in a prison cell, for example).
Also, maybe this is just me but I feel like the whole Elon Musk Twitter thing is kind of a dead meme. The whole "Twitter sucks, Newgrounds is paradise" schtick has been done ad nauseum: I feel like it could've been done in a much more interesting way than is presented here.
Who said people hate me?
I understand the pacing criticism, but that specific cut is fine. It gets better upon a second viewing
I really enjoyed this one!
Creative animation, good gags, and fantastic pacing. I know a lot of people dislike super long films on Newgrounds, but I think the quantity of jokes and the pace more than justify this being a 25 minute toon. I'm surprised that most of the comedy here was, for lack of a better word "smart". There's no random screeching or sound effects nor are there any distracting cameos or references.
I'm seeing a lot of people comparing this to Eddsworld, but I don't really see it: the jokes feel much more situational, as opposed to Eddsworld's more character-based style of comedy.
Also, unlike Eddsworld or Spooky Month, it never gets all up its own ass and pretentious about "deep lore": it knows what it is and doesn't try to do anything to distract from that.
The only real gripes I have with it is that sometimes Henry is drawn extremely small, so it feels like a lot of the characters tower over him in a way that doesn't strike me as super intentional, and there's some parts that I think really could've benefitted from more music.
Overall though, fantastic film! I'm hoping this cracks Best of All Time on the Portal, it's so rare to see such passion these days for animations that aren't tribute pieces or collabs!
Good review, I get what you mean but referring to this as "smart" reminds me how much society has fallen.
A modern day American Psycho
this is an honor to me 😏
It might seem like people are harping on about the same issues, but it bears repeating: having this as a game submission ala Clocks of the BBS or the Picollage would probably help out a lot: it'd let people explore at their own pace, and follow the artists they liked much more easily.
The quantity of artists on this collab is impressive on its own, and there's some good art in there, but that's really all I can say about it. Kinda reminds me a lot of "Monkey luffy" by Sevi.
Yeah, after thinking about it more it would have been a good idea to have a gallery but have the slideshow as like a extra thing. But live and learn y'know? Since this is my first Collab. Im planning on doing another one soon and I'll make sure it is like a gallery thing.
Hopefully this common critique will help influence a CAT COLLAB 2023 in that format! :3
audio portal might be a better fit for a podcast.
True, but I have all the art assets that would go to waste.
